This hydrating, sheer tint offers a natural, dewy effect while protecting lips from environmental stressors. Its color is purely plant-derived pigment, without mica or iron oxide.

*The color of the Lips & Cheeks product is derived exclusively from alkanet root, a botanical ingredient that naturally varies in pigment intensity. Despite employing a consistent extraction process for every batch, variations in color occur due to the inherent differences in each harvest. Over the years, we have observed that alkanet root has not yielded the same depth of color as in the past, likely due to environmental factors such as seasonal growing conditions and plant stress.

These fluctuations are an inherent aspect of working with 100% botanical-based colorants. While we strive to maintain batch consistency, slight variations are a natural characteristic of our commitment to using pure, plant-derived ingredients.*

Hot to use:

Lightly glide across your cheekbones or lips for a mere touch of protection and color, or for more color, use your fingernail to scrape off a bit of balm and apply it to lips and/or cheeks.

ALKANET ROOT is a natural dyeing agent that gives a ruby red color.

KAOLIN CLAY is one of the mildest clays but it still stimulates blood flow to your skin which encourages healthy skin cell turnover and promotes a brightened even skin tone.

COCOA BUTTER is high in antioxidants, which help fight off free-radical damage to the skin. It is high in fatty acids and deeply hydrates the skin with a subtle chocolate-like scent.

PALMAROSA is well-known for its hydrating properties and can assist in preventing inflammation and skin dehydration. It also balances sebum or oil production, aids in the healing of cuts and bruises, and helps remedy acne breakouts.

YLANG YLANG is used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, promote wound healing, improve mood, and enhance libido.
